Leda Franklin is owner and director of Studio Riverside and a Master Teacher of the
Gyrotonic Expansion System®. Leda came to the United States in 1984. She trained as a ballet and modern dancer in England and at the Dance Theatre of Harlem in New York City. She trained with Juliu Horvath since 1985, and is one of the original certified instructors in Gyrotonic® and Gyrokinesis®.

Leda taught at Juliu's studio White Cloud, for more than seven years, before opening Studio Riverside in 1992, to specialize in therapeutic exercises and movement rehabilitation. Hundreds of people have benefited from her instruction and hands-on-work, which has received acclaim for both prevention and healing of injuries. Leda has taught Gyrotonic® and Gyrokinesis® teacher trainings and workshops nationwide and in Europe.

She has attracted and developed a superb certified staff for Studio Riverside, that teaches individualized programs to a diverse clientele. Leda currently conducts teacher trainings in Gyrotonic®, Gyrokinesis®, THE LADDER®, JUMPING STRETCHING BOARD®, GYROTONER®, and the LEG EXTENSION UNIT®.

Leda is also one of the few Master Trainers permitted by Juliu Horvath to assist in the certification of future Master Trainers.
